A Day at the San Francisco Zoo
Presented by Susan Ober, Senior Docent and Educator from the S.F. Zoo
Friday, October 9, 1:30 pm
425 Market Street, 8th floor, San Francisco
Learn the history of the San Francisco Zoological Park: why it was started and what it takes to keep the animals fed, housed and cared for. How much food does a gorilla eat each day and what animal actually has seven stomachs? Do you know why the famous “Senior Stroll” program was eliminated from the Zoo’s monthly program and what can we do to prevent further cuts? Greet and meet Ms. Susan Ober, Senior Docent and Educator, from the S.F. Zoo. Hear about the educational classes given in biology, animal learning and behavior in the Park’s docent program. Find out the answers to the above questions. Hope to see you there!
Please call the CLIR office at 415-543-3965 and reserve a seat.
