Leaping Lizards! Charles Darwin Explores the Galapagos!

Dr. Gosliner has conducted research since 1982 and will focus on the classification, evolution and conservation of marine mammals in the tropical Indian & Pacific Oceans. Popular mythology has it that when Darwin arrived in the Galapagos he already understood how evelution occurred, having spent three years exploring the coast of South America. Dr. Gosliner will talk about the fact and fiction of what Darwin learned, when he learned it and how his view of the world changed in the the Galapagos.
