Burning Horses
Friday, September 10, 2010 @ 1:15 pm
To be held at 50 First Street, Suite 300, San Francisco
Agatha Hoff, a retired attorney with a long and varied legal career, ranging from aiding the poverty-stricken to service on the Bench, will discuss her just released book about the early life and flight from Budapest during WWII of her mother, Eva.
Burning Horses: A Hungarian Life Turned Upside Down, a lightly fictionalized account of these times is a testimony to the strength of her mother. It is compiled from original notes, oral records and Ms. Hoff’s childhood memories.
Suffice it to say, Agatha Hoff, who celebrated retirement by going skydiving, undoubtedly has a strong sense of humor. We’re convinced you will enjoy this presentation!
This event is FREE and open to the public. Please come and bring a friend.
